Lots of catching up to do!

Due to a crashed hard drive and having to set up new EVERYTHING- there is a lot of catching up to do.  So sad we lost so many great pictures and videos, yet, happy I have this blog or there would be many more lost!

Visit from The Bishops:
it was the first time in Portland MARRIED!
We have a party with Travis' aunts and uncles and Rhonda and Ben showed them all the wedding pictures and video- beautiful!  And so fun to relive the memories.  For those who didn't read the blog about their wedding, they got married in the Reno church Ron & Linda (Travis' parents) eloped to many years ago.  Special beyond words so it was really neat for Linda's siblings to see pictures of the church and ceremony.
checking out wedding photos- it's a girl thing... even Anna loves!

Aunt Joanne saved Linda's gift to her on her wedding day (an album) knowing that she would have wanted it for Rhonda and Ben.  thoughtful.
Highlight of the trip:  Rhonda's Star Wars Pancakes
Carter & X-Wing, Tyler & Yoda, Uncle Ben and Star Trooper and Travis with the Millennium Falcon.  Happy Boys!

Butterflies and a Big Girl Bed:
We raised butterflies from caterpillars this past winter and after a month finally found a warm enough afternoon to let them go.   Tyler went first with pride giggling and cheering on his as he set them free.  Carter was next and was a little more timid, but so were his butterflies... in fact one wouldn't leave... and never did.   He loved us too much I guess. (Tyler in blue/Carter white)

Tyler giving Carter a pep talk.  "Come on Brother..."

The one that wouldn't go.  Carter was so happy to not have to say goodbye.

I will miss these hands.

No more cribs in the Mack house.  Yes Annamarie is now in a "big girl bed":

My last "awwwww"s....

and she's free!  oh dear.

Visiting Bend:
We spent a weekend with my best friend Jenny and her clan.   Took the kids sledding and let them try out skiing.   Carter my little dare devil thought he was a bobsledder, Tyler was the first down the hill trying the skis, and Annamarie was a true snow bunny.

I turn around and she had taken her coat to put on the grass and grabbed her milk and cookie.  She started singing into the sun just enjoying the day.   My true snow bunny.
